The last ´Transformers! project is already some months ago, but how is it going with our participants from Istanbul? What were they doing afterwards and which influence had the ´Transformers! Project on their activities? Here you can read a blog of two of the Turkish participants: Mustafa Remzi Gencer and Huseyin Gürel.
Followers of this blog have already known that we, youngsters from 6 different countries, came together spring of this year for a youth project called Transformers! in Berlin. Let me briefly explain it for those who are not familiar with it. The idea was, as its name explains, transforming our communities which suffer various problems. The world is obviously not enough good place to live in. We face many issues that have significant impact on our daily lives both in local and national level.
YOUTH FOR TRUTH

I wasn’t interested in blogging before but, it became different after attending a work shop for blogging and how it’s an important tool to deliver an opinion freely. At the end of transformer’s project my decision was to create a blog includes youth of different countries to convey the truth from the view point of youth, not the news channels, which are sometimes controlled as a tool of political war.And because of the events that passed by my country since 30/6/2013, I noticed that the mistaken news are the ones that delivered to the world in English language through the media.
TALKING ABOUT STEREOTYPES, TAB WATER AND SPARKLES.

One by one the youngsters enter the kitchen of their spacious accommodation in Weissensee, in the North-East of Berlin. Some of them enthusiastically start telling about a street-art tour they just returned from. Others take a minute to retreat and relax in their rooms. There’s a good atmosphere.
